RUSH LOGISTICS CARRIER SMS POLICY.

We Use Carrier Representatives and Driver Phone Numbers and Text Messaging

When a carrier books a load with us, we may need to communicate important shipment details to the driver responsible for pickup and delivery. We collect the driver’s phone number either directly from the driver during a phone call, or from the carrier’s dispatcher with the driver’s consent.

How We Communicate:

We always initiate contact with the driver by phone. We only send text messages (SMS) with directions or load information after speaking directly with the driver and receiving their verbal request or consent to receive such messages.

In some cases, a dispatcher may request that we send the same information to the driver via text message.

What We Send:

Text messages contain only essential information related to the current load, such as directions to the shipper or receiver, pickup and delivery instructions, and real-time updates.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages to drivers.

Privacy Policy

We collect phone numbers from drivers and dispatchers for the purpose of sending SMS directions and facility information related to booked loads. We only send SMS messages after receiving explicit consent from the recipient, either directly or via dispatcher confirmation.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

We do not share your phone number or personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill our services or by law.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access.

How We Protect Privacy:

We do not share driver phone numbers with third parties. We only use driver phone numbers for operational communications related to active shipments. Once a load is completed, we do not send further messages to the driver unless they are assigned to a new load and again request SMS communication.

Opt-Out:

Drivers and carrier representatives may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message, or by notifying us directly.
